Due to an unexpected divorce, I am an older woman now trying to re-start my life. I have no dependant children now ... they are grown and flown. I gave up a career to raise my children and be a stay at home Mom. Now, I have to re-enter the work force and take care of myself. I want to go back to school ... a retail job just won't pay the bills. I can't earn enough to pay for school AND the bills. I keep searching the internet for possibilities, but it seems much of what I see as far as "aid" looks like a scam. I don't know how to sort out the real from the fake. Who do I trust ? Who do I stay away from ?
I would appreciate advice from someone who has been there, or would like to know how YOU made it. Anyone willing to be a Mentor ?
